The 18th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Day was colorfully celebrated in Jakarta, with the theme “Diversity and Equality for National Unity”. In attendance were, Ethiopian Embassy staff, invited guests, friends of Ethiopia and Ethiopian diaspora members. HE Ambassador Fekadu Beyene, in his welcoming speech stressed the importance of valuing and acknowledging diversity and equality for realization of the vision of the Nation, through the reform agenda, forging best lessons from our time honored journey, & envisioning bright prospects, all Ethiopians living inland or abroad must work in unison for peace, sustainable development and National Unity.
In the program, cultural photo exhibition, videos show of Ethiopian mega projects and cultural music dances of the various nationalities were displayed.
